Our Curriculum
Pride Academy uses the Abeka curriculum, which is a phonics-based curriculum that emphasizes reading readiness. Coupled with a hands-on learning approach, and age-appropriate lesson planning, we aim to provide our students the essential foundations for lifelong learning.
Our Programs
Infant Care
We’ve been providing stellar care for our smallest blessings since our founding. Starting 6 weeks of age, we offer full or part time care for your little one, with round-the-clock updates from our expert caregivers.
Toddlers, Two’s & Early Preschool
Our Toddlers, Two’s and Early Preschool (EPS) programs focus on fostering a love of learning in your child from an early age. We emphasize foundational learning and character building to give your little one a head start.
Preschool & Pre-K
Our Preschool and Pre-K programs are all about setting your child up for future academic success. From ABCs to reading readiness, your child will benefit from our balance of structured learning and creative enrichment.
After School Care
School age kids will feel right at home in our “Big Room” with plenty of space to play games, hang out, or get a head start on homework. We provide transportation from most elementary schools in GCISD, afternoon snack, and daily activities.
Summer & School Break Camps
When school is out, the fun begins! During spring, summer and winter breaks, Pride hosts a jam-packed day camp program for school aged kids, with themed activities, field trips, enrichment camps and more.
Curriculum
We use the phonics-based ABeka curriculum for our Twos, EPS, Preschool and Pre-K classes. In addition to our curriculum work, we also encourage creativity through arts and crafts, learning games, and fun music and language exercises.
Safety & Security
We pride ourselves on running a safe and loving facility for our students and families. We have a secure, QR coded check in/out system, and families can check in on their child via the ProCare Connect app. All of our classrooms and play spaces are monitored by CCTV cameras, and may be viewed upon request.
